If trans women are acceptable targets, just claim any woman is trans to make her a target. Whether it& #39;s true doesn& #39;t matter because (1) harassment won& #39;t wait for "proof," (2) public demand for private info is inherently humiliating, and (3) they& #39;ll never actually believe you.

And as the retweeted thread shows, this harassment mostly falls on Black women, cis and trans. It& #39;s misogynoir wrapped up in a transphobic package.
