BLACK MEN, what are some good books for my 14-yr old son? I’d like him to read something that will challenge him. His favorite author is James Patterson, but he’s finally open to reading non-fiction or fiction w/ more depth. Preferably by a black author.

So many great recommendations on this thread! I decided to start my son off w/ the Invisble Man. It came in yesterday & he’s already cracked it open.
