MY DRIVER& #39;S TEST EXPERIENCE: a thread
I woke up at 530am bc I was told we were gna leave at 6. the night before I went to sleep, I watched bts videos so they would calm me down. I wake up and get dressed (in my bts shirt so that they& #39;d be with me) and then me, my mom, and my dad head to the dmv. *note, the dmv by me
was closed bc someone got covid so we had to go somewhere else* so we get there...this place IS IN A STRIP MALL. IT DOESN& #39;T HAVE IT& #39;S OWN BUILDING IT WAS NEXT TO A FUCKING ICE CREAM AND DONUT SHOP. anyways there was also a line. at 640 in the morning. THERR WAS ALREADY A LINE
and the place didn& #39;t open until 730 so here we are standing. and we got lucky bc it started getted packed a little bit after we got there. there were a lot of new drivers that were there too. in fact, today was only supposed to be new drivers, license renewals, and titles
and the line was STILL long. anyways, they dead ass didn& #39;t do anything until 730 despite the fact that it was a long line. a black girl asks one of the employees a question and the lady answers it right. and when she comes up to us, she thinks I& #39;m the girl...keep in
mind the girl had short tight curls and mine is long and straight . anyways, THEN she mistakes me for my dad (bc my last name is a first name haha thanks slavery) and she also pronounces my name wrong so I was just over her. we finally get to the front of the line and I have
to go in without my parents bc social distancing and I was scared asl lmao. I took my picture first and the lady told me it was beautiful so that made me happy. and then I had to stand on a X bc social distancing and I didn& #39;t know i had to wait for my number to get called so I
moved up in line and a lady yelled at me and I was just. and I stood there for a long ass time. and then finally I got to take my two second vision test and then I had to text my mom so she could come pay and then I got to take my written test.
I forgot to mention this earlier, but but outside, the lady told us I had to take it and my mind was just instantly

but I passed the written test with flying colors. then it was time for the driving test and. BOY. it was nice bc where I was had like little to no traffic so it was just amazing but sis had me doing downhill parking and the whole time I was practicing with my mom she didn& #39;t know
what that was so I was on my own. thank God I remembered from sophomore year. BUT THEN SHE HAD ME BACK AROUND A CORNER????? I thought that was the most bullshit lesson I ever did but it came in handy I suppose. and then I drove back to the facility. the instructor
didnt even tell me when I did wrong she just told me I passed LMAO. but it was dead ass 4 hours of waiting for like 20 minutes of testing and I& #39;m PISSED. I got to drive home though and I& #39;m just really happy I finally got my license. I was supposed to get it junior year
on my birthday but wasn& #39;t ready and then I was gonna get it this year on my birthday but covid hit. and then I was supposed to get it a week ago but again covid. I almost wasnt gonna get it today if the line didn& #39;t keep moving. a lot of obstacles but I finally got there :)
