My younger cousin was shot last year outside of a laundromat on the south side of Chicago when someone was trying to rob him.

He only survived because he had time to pull out his pistol and defended himself by shooting his robber back-

5 days later my cousin was released out of the hospital. The next day he called me very upset because two police officers came to his house and told him that they have the video footage of the shooting.

they then told him they will not arrest the man who tried to rob him-

When he asked them why not one of the officers said because we& #39;re just going to wait until you niggers kill each other.

This is very normal in the urban community. People always talk about Chicago& #39;s black on black crime. Those people don& #39;t know about the thousands of youth that never felt protected by the police.

Would you believe me if I told you that when I was younger I saw the police drop of bags of guns in the alley and then drove off. Happened all the time. I hate people use my cities crime rate to justify black people getting murdered by the police. It& #39;s like saying black people kill each other in Chicago all the time, why are you mad about this?

You don& #39;t know the half of the corruption that happens in Chicago!

If my cousin sees the man that shot him out in the streets and killed him out of fear for his life. He was just be another black murderer from Chicago. The public wouldn& #39;t see him as a man who wasn& #39;t protected by the police in his own community.
