It& #39;s always jarring to me that people don& #39;t understand that it& #39;s deeply disrespectful and insulting to just give top-of-your-head advice to people who have been struggling with a problem for years.

As if you think the problem is that they just never used their brain at all.

They don& #39;t seem to understand that when people are demanding a fix for a system, it& #39;s because they& #39;ve tried all the standard advice and discovered that the system is fucking broken.

And it& #39;s unbelievably insulting to just assume it hasn& #39;t occurred to people to try to navigate it

And what& #39;s even worse is how they& #39;ll strut and preen like they& #39;ve done you a HUGE favor and you should be grateful for them deigning to bless you with their *totally useless condescension*
