"Believing victims" means also believing them when your friends are the abusers, thank you bye.

Every single time I have talked about an abusive person, our common friends have been defending them like "this specific case is not the same they have their own difficulties i can explain" and like. Maybe think long and hard if you ever want to say this.

Every. Single. Time.

Also the entire re-framing of abusers as "just a nice person who made mistakes" and victims as "they& #39;re exaggerating" is a well-known Classic but STILL happens all the time. From people who KNOW it& #39;s a classic.

And that& #39;s precisely how people& #39;s think they aren& #39;t doing this: they never for a second consider their friend as an abuser and the person who came forward as a victim.
