As a result HK Legco has been nothing more than a rubber stamp, passing draconian laws to the sole benefit of China. HK protesters, in defending HK’s promised autonomy, stormed LegCo and clearly expressed in front of the world their key demand for a reform.

HK protesters welcomed the passage of #HKHRDA end of 2019 with utmost gratitude. HKHRDA specifically lays out its support for “the establishment by 2020 of open and direct democratic elections” for all LegCo members. We have so far seen no electoral reform in Sept’s election.

Therefore, HK protesters are seeing the increasing need to cast a blank vote in the upcoming Sept election to highlight the need for an electoral reform and lifting the veil on the rotten core of HK LegCo, which allows China to dodge behind HK’s fake autonomy.
