Many of you have messaged me about a thread in which people are talking about my appearance in a derogatory manner.

I am aware of it.

I don’t want to say or hear anything else about it, but I will say this:

Stop sexualizing women in sports and disrespecting women in general.

And while we’re on the topic of women in sports, I’d also like to share this that I stumbled upon when I was trying to locate an older article.

Dismissing someone’s ability and work in this industry because of gender and age isn’t okay.

I landed my first sports gig when I was 16, and was told to expect things like this to happen. I know that they will, and that they do happen so many women.

This doesn’t make it okay, though.
