I got a one way ticket to visit my sister and my nephews (4 years old and 4 months old, respectively) in Virginia. This is my “Mom Intern” memoir thread

What’s good with babies? This one is cranky cause he’s tired, but I’m on lap 73 in my sisters bedroom and instead of sleeping he’s whining and mean mugging... all this complaining without pitching in for ONE bill I-

Mom brain is such a real & wild thing! You legit forget EVERYTHING. I had a great idea and was super excited to tell @pikachuu25 at the top of the stairs. I got downstairs, said “yo kety” she said what, I said “..........I forgot....”

Moms think about soooo much stuff all day. You’re washing clothes, and gotta wash dishes but the baby wants to eat so you can’t. Then you’re like damn my toddler needs lunch. You remember you’re still in pajamas at 12pm and you haven’t washed your hair in days. You forget again

In the midst of feeding the kids and the toddler asking you if y’all can go to Mexico for the 700th time, you don’t hear the washing machine go off. The wet clothes is half dry in there, you remember hrs later after growing a second pair of arms to feed YOURSELF. Gahdamnnnnn

Micah loves planets and since he was a baby he’s been inclined toward STEM. He is constantly quizzing everyone about planets and gases and asteroids. So the other day I asked him what he wants to be when he grows up... he said a basketball player????

I accidentally brushed Micah’s teeth with adult toothpaste the other day. He was wildin but he’s also dramatic (thanks2me) so I brushed it off but he was saying it was burning. I realized & I was like

Julian (the baby, aka Glazed Donut, aka Marshmallow, aka Honey Bun) also learned a neat lil trick I’ve been trynna teach him. I put my hands out and ask “Do you wanna come” and he always his hands on mine. today he finally pulled himself up!!! 2 cutie

My parents came to pick me up & stay a few days so my sis ran out of pillows. I’m using her pregnancy pillow and now she’s dead on it, it’s coming home with me. They got us thinking it’s just for pregnancy when it’s actually the most heavenly pillow to exist!!!

My nephew said I hurt him when I was drying him after his shower today. I asked how. He said cause I’m so cute.... if he doesn’t stop!!!
