This was in DC last night. Police sent in undercover agents dressed as protesters into the protests, then lied about their identities. One told @MaxBlumenthal that he was a journalist with CNN. Max rightly pointed out how dangerous this is for actual journalists.

This whole thread is wild - not necessarily about police, but white provocateurs showing up and causing trouble, which is nothing new.

We need to take a hard look at who started the violence at all the protests...

Lots of documented evidence of white people showing up to literally cause chaos and violence. Whoever these people are, what they’re doing is terrible, deeply immoral, and anathema to progress...
