Become unidentifiable. Cover tattoos, piercings, recognizable hair, faces, etc. please wear a mask if possible for a number of reasons. If you go with others, develop code names beforehand. Don’t bring your wallet, ID, etc. park far away if you have to drive
In the event that you get tear gassed, don’t wash your eyes with milk, only your skin. Milk can result in an eye infection. There are recipes all over twitter for eye solutions, and I’ll find some to add to this thread
Please do not record the faces of your fellow protestors, as it could put them in danger. Same goes for your own face, and the names and personal information of everyone involved
If you are white, use your privilege. Stand between the cops and and POC. Bring first aid in the event that anyone gets injured, although there are sometimes at least one or two trained workers out.
Protests have been organized by white supremacists and police as traps in Dallas and San Diego–always do THOROUGH research before attending a planned one. Stay safe<3
