for every killing of an innocent black person in america that we hear of, there will be thousands that never gain any mass media attention. so many murderers running free. i can’t believe how little people are talking about this shit in the uk. why are we turning a blind eye?
it’s infuriating how politicians here don’t speak out about these MURDERS that are happening every. single. day. surely they’re in a high enough place of power to do SOMETHING. at the very least, SPEAK OUT. make british people be aware of this too. encourge them to take action.
everyone should see the long lists of names, the names of those black americans who were killed simply for BEING black americans. no matter what country you’re in, you should cry for them. you should feel the pain that black communities have felt for years and DO. SOMETHING.
i’m sorry if i’m overstepping my boundaries here, but by standing aside and saying nothing, british politicians and citizens alike are contributing to the violence, to the injustice, to the blatant racism. #BlackLivesMatter
