We bring awareness by saying #SaveTheRainforests. It doesn& #39;t mean we ignore our local forests. It means there is an emergency we have to deal with now. #BlackLivesMater is the same. There is an existential threat on multiple levels, and bringing attention to it is necessary

It& #39;s not an affront to anyone else, it& #39;s a dire warning bell that there is a fire RIGHT NOW that needs our community to come together and work to fix the problem at hand. I can& #39;t do it justice but this #thread does. Read it and understand that it is a multi faceted issue
