Pushyamitra Shunga was the *Last* mauryan king, and that Ashoka maurya p€र$€cuted Ajivikas, Which is Baseless.

Malavikagnimitra (written during Shunga& #39;s rule) by Kalidasa says that Bhagvati Kaushiki was a Buddhist Nun in Shunga Court.

Mahavamsa, says that Pushyamitra generously donated to Buddhist Stupas and Viharas.
