Ben is still trying to adjust. Losing your hearing would be enough of an obstacle for anyone, but add in a neglectful dad & feeling weak/unworthy/unlovable. Callum knows Ben pushes ppl away when he feels scared/vulnerable, that& #39;s why he& #39;s working so hard to support/love him. 2/4

Yes, it& #39;s frustrating and it feels like they& #39;re going round in circles. But it& #39;s also realistic. That kind of self-loathing does not just suddenly disappear, it takes time. It takes someone who is willing to put in the time and patience to prove to you that you are lovable. 3/4

And one of them needing more support sometimes does not make it an unequal relationship. Ben supported Callum through him coming out & didn& #39;t get much in return. Now the roles have switched. It& #39;s about them both being supported when they need it; which they are. 4/4 #Ballum
