I think this morning is a good one to talk about my pronouns.

So you& #39;ve probably spotted that, instead of saying my pronouns in my bio, I have a spot that tells you to ask. That sentence IS my pronouns-in-bio line, and I& #39;m interested in explaining why.
1. Declaring my pronouns in my bio makes me feel like I& #39;m taking a definitive stance on which pronouns Feel Right, when I actually think none of them feel right except contextually from certain people
2. I am actively working on figuring a lot of gender stuff out, and it& #39;s a lot harder for me to feel like I can if I& #39;m leaving a "paper trail" where I was authoritative about my own pronouns
3. I like to have conversations with people! I& #39;ve made a few friends on this platform where the conversation was started by them asking my pronouns! It feels good to have people check in, as opposed to assume
If you haven& #39;t or don& #39;t want to check in, please don& #39;t use any pronouns for me!
