I think it& #39;s about time I start using my profile on this platform to share what I actually do.
I& #39;m a freelance illustrator obsessed with drawing people and stories and getting better at doing just that.
I experiment a lot and work on a huge array of different projects for clients - from most design works to illustrations of portraits and books.
I& #39;m busy re-doing my online portfolio to structure all of this and portray all of this more cohesively. This, for example, is a visual journey of a children& #39;s book I illustrated and designed for a wonderful client.
In total I& #39;ve created 15 children& #39;s books for different clients and as part of amazing initiatives.
I absolutely LOVE doing these books, especially if given creative freedom. Another firm favorite is commissioned portraits like these:
Now the reason I& #39;m bringing this up is to take more pride in what I do (!) but also to ask for a bit of help..
This coming June will mark the 3rd month I haven& #39;t been able to get a salary from my beloved company where I teach digital drawing, as we rely on teaching in school holidays..
And since those don& #39;t exist anymore we have had almost no students and thus, no income.

So! All I& #39;m asking from my little corner of this Twitter Universe is: If you have the means and would like some commissioned art, or know of someone who does, please give me a shout!
I would really appreciate it!
