One of my favourite actions this past season was the & #39;Veer Pin& #39;: a slipped PNR (Veer) into a Wide Pin Down (Pin). When the action is well disguised, the shooter& #39;s D is surprised by the & #39;Pin& #39; and is out of position to disrupt the cutter. See this thread for more Veer Pin options.
Here& #39;s a Veer Pin play from @gilboagalil Head Coach @liorlubin. You can see the corner where the Veer Pin takes place is completely cleared out so the screener slips into space for the open dunk.
You can also add a 45 cut prior to the Veer Pin to disguise who the Wide Pin will be set for. Like this example. Also notice the unintentional delay screen from #8 that cleans up the screener& #39;s D taking him out of position to help on the shooter.
