Is Cummings saying he& #39;d been around sick people and gone back into work rather than isolating? And that other people in government were doing the same?
He& #39;s saying that he was considering keeping going back into work, even though his wife was ill? The fucking guidance was stay at fucking home, not hang on and see if you could get a test after dropping your relatives off at the other end of the country.
What he& #39;s saying is that he needed childcare because he intended to keep going into the office when his wife was ill, against isolation guidance, potentially spreading the virus around government.
I don& #39;t care what he did after driving to Durham the first time. The very fact it was all predicated on him wanting to go into work when he should have been isolating. I don& #39;t care how important his job is. Do it fucking remotely, like the rest of us. Like Matt Hancock.
He& #39;s saying & #39;my job is more important than yours, therefore I didn& #39;t have to stick to the rules& #39;. This is why we& #39;re all so angry. This is the damn point.
Cummings saying he has to make difficult decisions every day, after demonstrating his terrible decision making, is not filling me with confidence.
This is going well. I can see why Cummings is hailed as a strategic political genius. It all makes sense now.
He& #39;s saying he doesn& #39;t think there& #39;s one rule for us and one for him, after referencing several times how important his job is.
Yes, Dominic, what IS the point of having people like you around?
All hail Gary Gibbon again, immediately picking up on the fact that Johnson has known about this for WEEKS.
Genuinely laughed out loud at @GaryGibbonBlog & #39;can the PM not do his job without you?& #39; BURN
