I need to point something out and I really need people to listen.

There are people that are gathering and possibly spreading covid. Particularly on this holiday weekend. There are people posting pics and saying "good riddance" and "they& #39;re weeding themselves out"

That& #39;s not how this works.
They& #39;re taking this sickness to people at work that did as they were asked for public safety. They& #39;re taking this sickness to their parents at home. They& #39;re taking this sickness back to their children. To their neighbors....

The problem isn& #39;t that people are choosing to risk their lives. They& #39;re choosing to risk someone else& #39;s life. They& #39;re taking other people& #39;s choice away from them.

They keep saying it& #39;s their choice. If only it were that simple that they were only hurting themselves.

If they are just going home alone and re-isolating, (which we know they& #39;re not) they& #39;re still adding to the hospital workload by being careless and exposing healthcare workers to yet another case.

Now, we know this is going to spread and that& #39;s the way it works.

But what we don& #39;t need to do is pick up their rhetoric of "choice" and carry that through.

Please stop posting pics of them saying things like they& #39;re making their choice or Darwin award. They& #39;re stealing choice from other people.

Once again people are imposing their choices on others.

Call it what it is.

Don& #39;t let them have their rhetoric be what you caption pics with because then they& #39;ve won. They& #39;re not choosing to hurt themselves. They& #39;re choosing to infect others. Tell it like it is.
