Off the top of my head, I believe I& #39;ve told two people, without mincing words, "Hi, you& #39;re going to get an agent and/or book deal with this particular manuscript. Just letting you know ahead of time!" and it has happened both times.

My power is real.

Like, this isn& #39;t something I say lightly because I VERY much don& #39;t want to get anyone& #39;s hopes up in this soul-crushing industry. But sometimes my gut just tells me, "Yes. Yes, this is going to happen for them," and when they prove themselves and also me right, I get so emotional.

(And for the record, I& #39;ve yet to tell this to someone who isn& #39;t a Black woman or a woman of color! Not ON PURPOSE; that& #39;s just how the cookie crumbled. But oh, how I love this particular cookie...!)

oh also both times it happened within 2 months of me telling them this. just gonna throw that in there too!
