With due respect, I request all honourable dignitaries to please read the following thread & give the whole scenario a thought. @AKTU_Lucknow @CMODelhi @HRDMinistry @CMOfficeUP @GovernorofUp @DrRPNishank #Aktusharamkro
In today’s webinar on conducting end semester examinations by AKTU, it was mentioned on behalf of the respected authorities that they haven’t heard of any ‘AKTU’ associate been infected by covid & hence it is totally fine to conduct exams in the month of July/Sept. (Continued)
I don’t wish to belittle anyone & with due respect sir/ma’am, I have a few questions to ask. Is AKTU waiting for somebody to get infected & die to stop this extremely unjustified method prescribed by the university to conduct exams? (Continued)
How does it make sense to keep hundreds of student coming from different parts of the country together under one roof, away from their homes, during this global pandemic? How casually did you compare a pandemic with road accidents & people dying of hunger. (Continued)
Has anybody ever announced a lockdown because people have been dying of road accidents? Is there no difference between road accidents and a highly contagious disease turned pandemic? (Continued)
As we can see in the video clip from YouTube& #39;s live video by AKTU executives, It is evident that they are taking responsibility of student& #39;s degree which is appreciable.(Continued)
But the statement where our honorable V.C says that if a student suffers from diseases like corona etc. then, an ordinance for rescheduling will be issued soon but, nothing regarding the student& #39;s life& #39;s responsibility has been talked about in the entire session. (Continued)
this shows the negligence of the university towards well being of the students. There are so many students who didn’t even have proper resources & internet access. (Continued)
It is really sad that the best way you could think of to conduct exams is keeping students all together at one place where on the contrary other universities are yet to make decisions.
Another query sir, are teachers also going to stay in these hostels which will be jam-packed with students & might also become a breeding ground for the virus? Will any of the honourable senior position holders come join us in this? (continued)
Sir, students don’t really have a problem with exams but, measures that you’ve suggested donot sound practical & are highly condemned.
