The Michael Flynn story is a lot more interesting than given credit for

During last days of Obama presidency, some ppl felt that Donald Trump MIGHT be a Russian spy

The question was

Did the Russians collude with Trump or people in his team

To check this, Obama ordered elaborate set of wiretaps against key T officials. The most prominent were Paul Manafort, former campaign manager and Michael Flynn, the soon to be national security advisor

This ultimately also lead to the the high level Mueller probe, whether Trump himself was involved

Ultimately all were cleared of spying for Russia, however Manafort was convicted of other crimes (not linked to Trump)

Flynn they found no evidence of spying, but he was careless

He had (arguably) broken a cpl of US laws by speaking to Russia offlcials even before Trump was sworn in (for govt work) and he had lied

Now he is being exonerated , because new evidence has come that FBI tried to entrap him and get him convicted of any crime, not just Russia

This has led to the new Trump accusation of OBAMA GATE

That OBAMA spied on him and tried to falsely implicate HIM for spying for Russia, all in order to bring down a newly elected president
