Koalas are so weird, y& #39;all. They don& #39;t even look real.

They sleep up to 23 hours a day. Because so much of their energy is spent digesting their only food source, eucylyptus, which is *toxic*, hence all the work of digestion.

They also make bizarre noises.

Oh heck yeah y& #39;all now we& #39;re learning about quokkas!!

Sidenote this PBS documentary is the best thing ever, they made a bunch of fairly realistic spy bots to infiltrate groups of animals (koalas, kangaroos, seals, quokkas etc) and learn more about them.

Oh no one of the real quokkas got into a fight with Quokka Bot and knocked it down and it& #39;s having trouble getting up and I laughed so hard the whole unit probably heard me.

Then the real quokka felt bad and offered it some food I just. So much cute.
