I was waiting for @Joshua4Congress to wake up bc I wanted to give him a chance to speak for himself, but clearly everyone& #39;s got some pretty wild ideas about what& #39;s happening so I& #39;m gonna dispel the rumors for all of you in the following thread.

1. Joshua has done this before; the nonstop Twitter/Insta notifications & DMs with interview requests make it nearly impossible for him to unplug & sleep.

With the added stress of surviving & campaigning during a global pandemic, that influx of messages has gone WAY UP.

2. While we raised additional money to offset the cost of getting on the ballot, we can easily & comfortably pay the filing fee, & will be on the ballot for US Congress in WA-10 this year.

3. You can& #39;t just take campaign contributions & run away, idk who thought that was a thing

4. There was no problem that led to this aside from Joshua& #39;s trouble getting sufficient rest to work. While social media is a massive part of our campaign, he also has to perform well in interviews, panels, voter contact, & political organizing. This means getting SLEEP.

5. While I understand panicking, he& #39;s been gone for like 4 hours & I& #39;ve seen a bunch of prominent folks on the left gleefully smashing their "cancel" buttons. Y& #39;all can reach out, we get to requests as quickly as possible.
