Dick Grayson Tarot, a thread. I& #39;ll be adding each card as I complete them.
"As if earth and its trammels had little power to restrain him, a young man in gorgeous vestments pauses at the brink of a precipice among the great heights of the world" - A.E. Waite
"A youthful figure in the robe of a magician, having the countenance of divine Apollo, with smile of confidence and shining eyes." - A.E. Waite

I have to take liberties with symbolism to make this work. Don& #39;t @ me about inaccuracy.
"She is the spiritual Bride and Mother, the daughter of the stars and the Higher Garden of Eden. She is, in fine, the Queen of the borrowed light, but this is the light of all."
"Although animal in nature, there is human intelligence in the face, and he who is exalted above them is not to be their master for ever."
Going off sequence now because I& #39;m really struggling with some of the pervious cards.
Death is an ending before total transformation.
"The intellectual light is a reflection and beyond it is the unknown mystery which it cannot shew forth. It illuminates our animal nature, the nameless and hideous tendency which is lower than the savage beast." - A.E. White
"He is conquest on all planes--in the mind, in science, in progress, in certain trials of initiation. [...] He is above all things triumph in the mind." - A.E. White
The hermit is one of the cards I find hardest to interpret correctly, and made the choice to deviate from the popular design. He& #39;s not in solitude by choice, but a seeker in the dark, chasing after the light, guidance, and understanding of himself that he desperately needs.
It always seems to me the interpretation of this card are rather conflicted depending on the interpreter. So I& #39;d rather let the card speak for itself about sensuality and creativity.

Earth-11 Nightwing, anyone? Two hearts
To me, historical tarot represents life better than the modern variations, so I reverted to the original meaning of the card. Here& #39;s fortitude, better known as strength, represented by Earth-2 Dick Grayson, who overcame his loss and sorrow and took up a powerful legacy.
I chose to forego the symbolic nature typically used in this card, instead have the various lives Dick could have tell the story. The Wheel of Fortune is about the good and bad sides of life in constant rotation, leading us to fate that& #39;s not always in our control.
The Hanged Man represents a complicated moment in life, whether sacrifice or a change in perspective is needed for growth, it no doubt reminds us to take a pause in life before taking action.
