This is hard to write. @Unubo as a hosting business didn’t work out.
This mainly comes down to 2 reasons:
1/ We couldn’t make the unit economics work for this kind of business.

What we wanted to offer required us to charge a certain amount, which didn’t match the kind of customers we were targeting - it’s not a price they were willing to pay.
We also went the freemium route, which in hindsight was a mistake.

2/ I couldn& #39;t decide if I wanted to run a venture backed business or bootstrap. A lot of time was spent raising capital vs listening to customers and iterating the platform.
@hnshah shah once told me: “first decide what type of business you want to run.”
I didn’t do that.

So, what now? I’m not done being a founder, far from it. I’m already structuring my thoughts on building a bootstrapped business, with a much simpler product.
I’m in no rush. For now, I’m a bit drained and need to rest.
