Abandoning & #39;stay at home& #39; for a completely ambiguous message, replacing a red colour scheme with green, combined with newspapers splashing on imminent freedom based on government briefings - all point in one direction, and that is lockdown collapsing.

It gets worse. The Conservatives haven& #39;t discussed this with the Welsh or Scottish Governments in advance. Both had to find out from the Sunday papers, and both are sticking to & #39;STAY HOME& #39;. Another grim chapter in a horrendously mismanaged national disaster.

Let& #39;s just be honest about what the new approach means.

It means sending working class people back to work while middle class professionals can keep working from home.

This, in a pandemic which is significantly more likely to kill the poor than the affluent.

This isn& #39;t & #39;SAVE LIVES& #39;, it& #39;s & #39;SAVE CAPITALISM& #39;.
