There’s something to be said about the experience of going out in hijab and suddenly seeing everyone with their faces covered, and it’s completely normalized. It has me feeling some type of way.

Like, you mean society could suddenly just accept being covered as normal bc in this case they wanted to accept it???

So you’re telling me if the law mandates face covering because of a virus (which I agree with), it’s cool, but if I want to cover my hair, it’s still weird? Just a lot to think about.
