If I estimate, these are men born between, say, 1905 and 1920. There were a few around, even up to the late 90s. But obviously, by now, all of them are gone.

Actually one Maina man was a pastry chef, and I have a first hand account of his story for he would tell it to me as I picked loquat fruits from his compound. I will tell his story shortly.
