One of the ways that I think I& #39;ve changed, hopefully for the better, on Twitter is that I used to be deeply invested in the question of what Roman Catholics here thought about our orders and sacraments and now I just don& #39;t care. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Like, I think there are much more generous readings of e.g. Unitatis redintegratio than many online Catholics are willing to countenance, but also: it really doesn& #39;t matter!
I don& #39;t think it& #39;s in se offensive to claim that we & #39;don& #39;t have the Eucharist& #39; - it follows pretty reasonably from certain Roman Catholic doctrines.
And more to the point, ecumenism on more than the local level is stalled for the foreseeable future, so, once again, shrug emoji.

And if I& #39;m being honest, I think it often betrays a certain guilty conscience or lack of confidence in our own claims to catholicity.
