We have evaluated methylene blue (MB) a disinfectant + light as a safe and cost-effective means to inactivate WNV(West Nile Virus) in vitro. WNV could be inactivated by MB + light with no residual infectivity. Check Thread for Links.

Treasure trove of info on a type of disinfectant along with light therapy being a great anti-viral treatment for many hardcore viruses out there. Itâs only used alternatively at the moment I do believe. They Wouldnât want to piss off Big Pharma ya know.
