Now seriously:
To analyze what a halo trully is: halos are accesories...
...just a piece of glimmering donut floating on your hat
well... why everyone seems to need one?
Because they actually represent luck, chance, randomness. Not something you can get 100%. You MIGHT get it for doing this

So... halos, tied to game mechanics, are that: the representation of luck (pretty much like the CS:GO Knives, the TF2 Unusuals, or getting a Queen Bee in Adopt Me!, but with the difference you dont pay any money)
But, appart from that, they are just accessories
But, appart from that, they are just accessories
They wont affect the gameplay in any sense (the other examples either affect in the gameplay. They can be considered "reskins" of already existing items)
Before trading came out, halos had the meaning of "being a lucky person"
Here comes the best part oh boy...

So... if halos represent how lucky a player was to receive said item, why do we price them differently?
The answer is obvious: The Halo Rarity Tier List that was created
BASED UPON THE AMOUNT OF HALOS DRAWN FROM THE FOUNTAIN
This made some halos look rarer than others

So... apparently, some people take this game as a "lets afford the most rare halos because less people had the luck to pull them out of a fountain", thus turning this game into a competition of "who has the best between the best"
We grab the small percentage of lucky people that got a halo from a fountain, and now we make it SMALLER
Excuse me... what?
The main reason most people wanted a Halloween 2019 Halo was because they were the rarest of the rare... but why?
Because of the Fountain Update

The Fountain Update made getting halos a harder task. Why? It altered the way the system decided what would you receive
This results in the Halloween 2019 Halo being the rarest halo, and being a trophy, sometimes even being priced in exchange of other halos!
But thats not all!

Some people even went further and based their own aesthetic after the Halloween Halo after finding out how strange they were. This burns the entire point of "being unique and original" and turns it into "I need to be THE GHOST BECAUSE I& #39;M THE RARE OF THE RARE"
What a way to kill your own uniqueness. Letting an accesory decide your own aesthetic just because of a game mechanic
In the opposite side...
The 2018 Winter Halo being the most common was item of some people underpricing it and turning it into a joke

If we are going to reach these extremes, whats the point of having ANY halo if, instead of being an item to represent luck or, AFTER TRADING CAME OUT (and you can get any if you manage to get the deal), being an item to complement your outfit or give off some vibes?
We need to take a step backwards, and... ok... people price their halos around 100k or maybe 400k? (prices are still debatable)
But can we price halos for being halos, INSTEAD OF PRICING THEM FOR THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT GOT IT?

Some halos might never come back to the RH economy because people wont trade them anymore for various reasons. So that limits the halos that can be earned EVEN MORE.
Can we define halos as cool items that embody your oc with different auras or vibes, instead of trophies?
