This is one of my best friends, doing an overnight shift on Chicago& #39;s Blue Line. She& #39;s a nurse practitioner who administers healthcare to the homeless. She doesn& #39;t have a hospital to work in; she works in the field every day with Chicago& #39;s most vulnerable humans. She& #39;s a hero.
