So let’s talk about the pick. The overview and my stance right now is that my issue isn’t with Love as a player but it’s the situation we gave up

First the positives of Love:
• Crazy amount of potential
• Loves off kilter throws and can learn from the master
• Struggles with decision making but has the best decision maker ever to teach him
• We most likely have the QB situation set for a long long time

Why I don’t like the situation:
WR, DT, LB/S, OT, CB are all needs. We have 3 picks before the 6th round to fill those needs (could have been 4). Patrick Queen was in our lap and Blacklock could have been our pick at 30 and our defense would have seen a big step up

My other issue is that we traded up for this pick and gave away 136 where we could have possibly taken someone like Gordon to do what Love is gonna do and had our backup/future QB and an gotten an immediate help to the team along with that
In the end yes I will pull for Love and I will be behind him till he’s not a Packer anymore, but if you ask me if this pick made sense then I’m gonna be honest with you and tell you no especially 1 win away from the Super Bowl
