Miami Beach Finance Chair @RickyArriolaMB says the beaches + economy should reopen soon.
"For people who love to use the comeback, ‘What if somebody dies?’ are they prepared to accept a heart attack because somebody did not go see their cardiologist?" https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/miami-beach/article242169316.html">https://www.miamiherald.com/news/loca...

Miami-Dade County @MayorGimenez has authority over coastal cities to reopen beaches, but Miami Beach @MayorDanGelber said he doesn& #39;t anticipate reopening until June — even if the county reopens sooner. "It makes no sense to gamble that we’ll be fine."
If Arriola were in charge, he would reopen beaches and some businesses — hotels, hair salons and restaurants — in the next 30 days. "Every day...that goes by, the economic damage becomes permanent. It’s going to add up to tens of thousands of families...that don’t have work."
