If your "alternative energy" cannot power the building of its own infrastructure, then it& #39;s not an "alternative" to hydrocarbons; it& #39;s a virtue-signalling luxury you can afford only through massive utilization of hydrocarbons.

The only proven alternatives to hydrocarbons are mass death in winter, mass poverty, immobility & deindustrialization.

Until you can survive & thrive for an entire year without consuming any hydrocarbon energy or products, don& #39;t pretend what you have are & #39;alternatives& #39;.
