It isn& #39;t acceptable to put questions of privilege (in this case whiteness and an anglo-centric interpretation of the world) to a "democratic" vote.

The results show a "majority" of people think it is ok. But we need to hear the very clear message from 35% of respondents: No.

I& #39;d like to very deeply apologise to anyone who was upset and/or if my poll implied anything other than a survey of responses. I would *never* have made my decisions based on the percentage / majority response but I see how the phrasing looked like I might have.
