I am grateful for all 19 years I& #39;ve gotten to serve as a priest. Each one has brought new riches and seemed better than the last. Even this year, looking back, will be seen to be one of grace I am sure--though not the ones one might have chosen. We sometimes only see the hand of
God long after it has gently helped us navigate the storm, when at the time we thought we were just owed better weather. I can say that the roadblocks in my life have been of my own making, and that God found me detours better than the paths I had thought were for me. I am just
happy and grateful and overwhelmed to reflect on the people who& #39;ve walked with, challenged, encouraged, trusted, forgiven, laughed with, cried with, had Chartreuse with, and loved me over these years. They are mosaic proof of the existence of God, the warmth of the universe,
