Hello my five followers. It& #39;s been a wild four weeks hasn& #39;t it? I might make you a video update but I can summarise how it& #39;s been in a thread of tweets you& #39;ll never read.
1. I& #39;m diagnosed mental and it got really bad so my husband has been given leave from work to care for me. Yesterday was the first time I left the house to go for my state mandated exercise for four weeks. I have not been able to leave the house.
As a consequence of being unwell, I have withdrawn from my masters course on medical grounds. I am unable to complete my work, in fact I am unable to pick up a book and read more than a few pages without distracting myself. I& #39;m awaiting an assessment for Aspergers which...
...was picked up by the university last year when I struggled with my undergraduate. They have provided me with support with how to cope with sensory issues, something of which turns out I& #39;ve needed my WHOLE LIFE but found out when I was 31!
I& #39;ve had a good run in academia and I hope to go back when the fog has passed and I& #39;ve chilled out. I chose a taught MA as I& #39;ve needed extra help (even though I managed to get a First Class degree) and having those lectures has prepared me for the independent study I wish to do.
In the meantime, Animal Crossing is literally saving my life, my children have been surprisingly very good, council work is at a minimum right now (though I am constantly worrying about the residents), and I hope to leave the house some time again in the next four weeks.
In amongst this and *during a pandemic* it still hasn& #39;t stopped people making sock accounts and trying to discredit me and being utter bastards on the internet. When will they get a life eh?
The BEST Claire will be back soon and we can carry on kicking arse and holding the government to account. Look after yourselves and do not be afraid to ask for help if anybody needs it.
