Thinking about Terryl Givens& #39; 2 Nephi book. While I think it& #39;s fair to call Givens (relatively) liberal among LDS scholars, do you think he& #39;s "liberal" in the sense that he takes historical critical scholarship seriously and uses it to drive his theological or scriptural work?

I would love it if you& #39;d be willing to explain or expand on your answer!

And let& #39;s just say that so far (I& #39;m almost done) I& #39;m *super* frustrated w it, but I think my frustration may be productive.
