No dear PM @narendramodi, hardwork is not more powerful than Harvard.

Harvard generally means hardwork + knowledge. You must have learned this, albeit painfully, through the effects of demonetisation.

Your contempt for knowledge will hurt our country badly for a long time. 1/n
You made fun of every economist who said India& #39;s economy will suffer because of that foolish decision of demonetisation.

Not only did you make fun, but also ridiculed their education & the value of education itself. Coming from Prime Minister, that was highly disappointing. 2/n
Why am I saying all this after 3 years? Well, back then it was a crisis that you made, right now it is a crisis that you have to deal with. But what is constant is you & your contempt for knowledge & expertise. I am worried if we are all going to pay now as we did back then 3/n
Dear @narendramodi, this is not a time to find safe space in what comes natural to you. By that I mean motivational speeches & theatrics. This is a time when you have to go beyond your comfort & start understanding the complications of the disease. And also address the press. 4/n
Look at your fellow leaders world around. They are taking questions, trying to answer and in the process learning & educating countrymen about the uncertainties of the future that covid-19 entails. Your aura as a person who knows & has a solution to everything will backfire. 5/n
You have given 3 televised addresses to the nation after the lockdown began. Not a single one with facts or figures on any measures that the government was doing. Instead, you delegated that job and you found your comfort once again in that election/campaign speech category. 6/n
This is where I am afraid, your contempt for, or rather I should say, your lack of comfort with, knowledge and expertise could prove costly to the nation.

Hey, hey.. sorry don& #39;t go away. Today& #39;s briefing is on something else. On our & #39;exit& #39; strategy from this lockdown. 7/n
First of all, dear PM @narendramodi, ask MHA to immediately take back this letter. Once you have directed that inter-state travel is banned, your govt should take a step back and let the respective state governments handle the situation as per their analysis and decision. 8/n
Even as a strategy this is bad, because you won& #39;t want to put all your eggs in one basket. Okay okay. All your tomatoes.

Let there be variations on exit strategies. We don& #39;t know what works and what won& #39;t. So shed that we are the bigger government here attitude. 9/n
Hey.. come on. We had a briefing on this like 3 weeks back. On the importance of decentralising while dealing with such an uncertain crisis. Don& #39;t tell me you forgot all of it. 10/n https://twitter.com/naukarshah/status/1244135962285756423?s=20">https://twitter.com/naukarsha...
We& #39;ll discuss more on exit strategies later. But for now, may be you can recite this,

विद्या शस्त्रस्य शास्त्रस्य द्वे विद्ये प्रतिपत्तये ।
आद्या हास्याय वृद्धत्वे द्वितीयाद्रियते सदा ॥

And repent for devaluing education & the educated in a country that always valued knowledge
