I don& #39;t know where did you learned that but Prof W.Joel Schneider said that learning abilities is one of the measures to test someone& #39;s iq lvl. Someone with more/higher learning abilities can grab a language or memorise something better. And language sir, is not prior knowledge. https://twitter.com/ameeeeerude/status/1250731927398608896">https://twitter.com/ameeeeeru...
Yes it& #39;s true that there& #39;s no significant research that proves more language = better iq bc even I don& #39;t believe so as some people live in a surrounding with many language spoken. For example it& #39;s natural for an indian from india to speak hindi, urdhu, and tamil as that& #39;s normal+
for them. Those language is spoke in the whole india. Even so not all hv the ability to master all three altho hindi and urdhu is very similar. But it& #39;s different when it comes to learning a completely new language, something you learn in school. That& #39;s not prior knowledge.
That& #39;s something new for most malaysians unless they hv prior english education at home. Therefore it& #39;s not true when you say that a malaysian grabbing and mastering english has nothing to do with their iq level when they hv no english speaking parents as their background.
