Pro tip. You don& #39;t at all discourage people from believing conspiracy theories when you shame them for attempting to think for themselves or think beyond what the government& #39;s explanation for things is.
I myself veer far away from conspiracy theories almost always. I also think we have to do a good bit of personal research, discernment, & critical thinking to make sense out of the many things we are told. I also know that shaming people never invites them into the common good.
TL;DR

saying & #39;YOU BLUBBERING IDIOT, STAY THE F*** HOME& #39; to someone who believes the whole thing& #39;s made up so the gov& #39;t can institute martial law doesn& #39;t actually work or help anybody
And also there is also always the possibility that some parts of these theories are actually true. The likelihood that our government doesn& #39;t want us knowing the full extent of their malfeasance is high.
another TL;DR--we are in this together. I wish we could figure out how to understand it and act as if it were true
