@HouseDemocrats @HouseGOP hey, I have a question as a dependent over the age of 17 who filed his own taxes, pays for his own school, and helps pay bills and buy groceries around the house. Could we please consider these dependents in terms of the stimulus?

It seems people like me were totally neglected in the stimulus bill. Our parents don& #39;t get money because we& #39;re over 17, but we don& #39;t get any money because we& #39;re dependent? If I had to make a suggestion

Either allow us to receive the 500 credit as a dependent who filed their own taxes, or allow the person we& #39;re dependent upon to receive the 500 for having us as a dependent. Just because I& #39;m over the age of 17 doesn& #39;t mean all the expenses associated with me go away.
