- it& #39;s a prepared speech. You had time to have it dubbed in regional languages and telecase it alongside the main speech. Do it.

- it& #39;s a speech entirely in hindi on DD. Have English subtitles - that& #39;s also an official language

- Tamil subtitles on Podhigai isn& #39;t going to cut it - this is a pandemic. People are anxious. You had time and reources to fully translate it in the vernacular without delay - do it.

- I shouldn& #39;t have to turn on a private english news channel who decode what the PM is saying

No, not everyone knows Hindi.

Yes, I feel upset and lost every time the PM speaks - from the time he invalidated a circulating note to his speech during a pandemic lockdown - because I don& #39;t understand what he& #39;s saying.
