I’m seeing so many tweets about loved ones dying ... they’re getting huge retweets/likes.
I want to be sympathetic cuz of COVID, but I also read how many of these accts are fake. Once followers grows, the acct is sold and Twitter name changed.

So if you see random Twitter accts in your following list that you don’t know why you would have followed, it could be that you were duped into following one of the fake ones.

Be careful before responding/interacting/following accounts & tweets with 100k likes that seem to come out of nowhere.
