I had a profound moment recently. A woman I was talking with told me about how she felt about me the way I feel about people like @cassieroma and @TraceyBridges68 â like you want to emulate these amazing, successful, kick arse women.
And when she said these lovely, affirming things to me, I replied: âitâs funny; to others on the outside looking in, it looks amazing and talented, but when itâs you doing it, you often feel in over your head and like youâre holding on by the skin of your teeth.â
And being a person whose conscious brain sometimes has to catch up with her mouth, I suddenly realised that Iâd been wanting to be successful & talented & kick arse my whole adult life & not realised Iâve actually been those things for a while â bc I donât see the me others see.
My point is: The âyouâ you feel you are in the moment isnât the âyouâ everyone else is seeing. If you feel scared & like youâre on a rollercoaster, you probably look like youâre killing it and taking names. Do the scary thing. Be the boss bitch you already are.

I bet you $500 Jacinda Ardern didnât feel calm & in control when she was elected PM. When she led the nation in responding to a massacre. When she had to lock the whole country down bc of a deadly virus. Do the scary thing. Be kick arse. See yourself how others see you
