[Thread] Met this nice lady from Gahdhoo on my trip to Gdh Gan. She has a farm there. Her biggest complain was that she cant grow ala (taro) in Gan anymore. According to her and some other Gahdhoo women i talked to it has been this way for atleast 5 years.

I was on my way to try and get some footage of Gan havitha with my colleagues. But we decided to go to her farm to see what was happening to the ala plants first. She lead us to her farm while recalling nostalgic memories of when Ala was abundant. It was a 20 minute walk

So it appeared that it was some sort of disease which was causing this. Details in the story i wrote link below
