Where I& #39;ve settled is 20 percent on anything that in the past I would& #39;ve tipped zero, and double the tip on everything else.

An example of where I would& #39;ve tipped zero is where I buy wine (a family run joint). But now it& #39;s delivered (by fed ex) the store is closed but i tip to say thanks for packing and shipping my wine.
At the 20% level I try to stick to localish places where the owner is walking over from their home and their exposure risk is low.
